​At Confident Canines our goal is to provide the absolute best in dog daycare for you and your dog.

All of your dog daycare staff are fully trained in canine body language, canine behavior, and dog group management by the owner of Confident Canines, Bev Wells CBCC-KA

While staying with us at Confident Canines, you can be assured that your dog will not only be well taken care of, but will be plenty tired at the end of the day from playing with their friends in our fully fenced in yard space. All dogs are assessed for their suitability for attending dog daycare ensuring the safest possible environment for your pup.

Your dogs are monitored during  the entire time of their visit with us by 2 or more staff members who not only ensure your dogs are playing safely, but are also loved individually!

Service Dog Training - K-9 CINB Working Service Dogs

 Confident Canines owner, Bev Wells CBCC-KA now exclusively trains working service dogs  with her new not-for-profit - K-9 CINB Working Service Dogs.

 Bev is an active member the the CCPDT (Certification Counsel for Pet Dog Trainers) the CAPPDT (Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers) and The Professional Pet Guild (The Association of Force Free Professionals)

Bev has over 20 years experience working with dogs in various capacities such as K9 Security in Toronto, SPCA Animal Control Officer in Welland ON,  working with Wolves at Wolf Park in Battle Ground IN, and training and teaching pet dogs in the Saint John area since 2014.

In April of 2020, Bev, in partnership with K9 Country Inn Working Service Dogs,  brought much needed service dog training to New Brunswick. She specializes in Owner Trained/Trainer assisted, as well as program dogs for Veterans & First Responders who suffer with  PTSD & Mobility. Bev's unique connection with dogs allows her to tailor her approach to each individual's needs to ensure the training process is stress free for both dog and owner alike.

​Courteney Carlin - Senior Dog Handler

Courteney joined us in October 2021. She works opening shifts alongside Bev, and is likely one of the first faces your pup sees in the morning! She's a quick learner and works hard at her job every single day. Courteney loves every dog she meets and has been an exceptional addition to our team!
